Cairo in the 80s

Many years ago I had a bitter break-up and lost a lot of belongings and personal items.
In particular, photos of family & trips. In the early 80s I had an uncle that lived in Cairo. For two weeks I stayed with him at his suite at the Mena House. Besides all the typical (as if
Egypt would ever be described as typical) my uncle James and I visited a Bedouin family in the Sinai that trained falcons and I hung out with other Egyptians locals at night.
A group of about 8 of us would go to hotels cafes and drink half and half, coffee and tea. Last eve, I came across a website that had some pics and I recalled that I had climbed through the center of a pyramid all the way to the burial chamber in the middle.
