Living Board Game

Wildlife - "Netherlands based Identity Games proves once again there’s no limit to what you can do with an iPad if you flex your noodle a little. Their new Living Game Board is a genius little set up that breathes some digital life into kids board games, maybe even enough so they’ll want to play them again! Let’s be honest, the iPad, video games, and computers in general have been waging a slow war on traditional board games for years now, but this teched out hybrid will grab any kids attention.
First off, the game board doubles as an (ugly) iPad sleeve. You just slide it on and unfold the flaps and your ready to play. 2-4 players can play Wildlife, the first title, which is a port of their very popular DVD game. Once the sleeve is attached to the iPad, built in sensors relay info about board position of the pieces back to the program – so don’t try to cheat, it’s watching. The sleeve is expected to release this fall with two games initially with more games + sleeve inserts to be available for $5-$10. The Apps required to play will of course be free in the App Store."
