Gene Roddenberry Sci-fact

At 9:22 Eastern this morning, Malaysia's first spaceflyer Sheikh Muszaphar Shukor and the first female Space Station Commander, Peggy Whitson, successfully launched into space on their Soyuz TMA-11 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan. Piloting the ship was cosmonaut Yuri Malenchenko who will stay on board the space station with Peggy for six months, Shukor will return to Earth October 21st.

Godspeed Soyuz TMA-11 Crew! Don't put on a 'red shirt'. Guys in those things never make it back.
