I do not know where Pattern for Plunder found this, but it is awesome!
I have actually been to Egypt while in my early 20s for a 2-week stay at the
the Mena House. One of Dad's brothers worked in Egypt for years. While
there I visited the Valley the Kings, the Sinai, Giza, the Sphinx, the
City of the Dead, the Cairo Museum and a number of other spots. Staying in Cairo,
Anglo tourists spoke to in Arabic not knowing I was a bi-racial kid from Texas.
Several evenings while there I went out with local guys & girls my age.
I had met them at The Mena House and staff were not allowed to mingle so went to
other hotels to drink tea and coffee.
