What Next...WTF?!Florida Gov. Halted Haiti Medical Flights
Earlier this last week Gov. Charlie Crist told ' "Good Morning America" he was puzzled by the suspension of medical flights between Florida and Haiti , which has been in effect since last Wednesday.
The NY Times reported "flights were suspended Wednesday after Gov. Charlie Crist of Florida wrote a letter to Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of health and human services, warning that “Florida’s health care system is quickly reaching saturation, especially in the area of high-level trauma care.” He asked the federal government to absorb some of the expenses by activating the National Disaster Medical System, which reimburses states for hospital treatment after catastrophes.
Yesterday on "CBS Sunday Morning" the alleged Gay Republican Governor said on camera that Florida needed monetary compensation for flying in injured Haitians.
WTF, Crist?
